About the Event
The Smithsonian is known for its museums on the National Mall, but significant efforts are happening at the Institution focused on Science, Education, and Conservation. Attendees will learn about the initiatives from across the Smithsonian that are impacting Virginia. The following speakers are planning to participate in the discussion panel:

Emma Marcucci, Director of STARS (Scientists Taking Astronomy to Rural Schools), Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory
