Our mission is to stimulate an interest in gardening, to aid in the protection of nature, plants, and birds, and to encourage civic planting.
Welcome to the Hillside Garden Club
We are looking forward to interesting and informative meetings in 2023 and 2024. As we gather to enjoy each other’s company, our speakers will address various community and conservation issues.
We have several on-going projects including the restoration and maintenance of the Anne Spencer Garden and
the Doug Tallamy speaker event.
Garden Day on April 23, 2024 will be an exciting time to visit and enjoy Lynchburg!

Eight-plus decades and counting! Hillside Garden Club Members have organized and participated in community projects making substantial contributions at the local and state level past and present in order to fulfill the club's mission.
